History
Marwadi Yuva Manch (MYM) Kathmandu was founded on Jestha 3 Gate, 2049 B.S. (1992 A.D.) at the
Marwadi Sewa Samiti
Nepal. It was envisioned as a platform where young Marwadis could unite to promote social welfare,
education, and
cultural development.
Under the leadership of late Pradeep Sharma, the first president, MYM laid a strong foundation
rooted in service and
unity. Over the last 31 years, MYM has organized numerous blood donation camps, health check-ups,
scholarships, and
cultural events — becoming a vibrant force in youth empowerment and community service.
The Forum also plays a pivotal role in leadership development, as evidenced by its
structured
committee elections. On
June 20, 2022, the Marwadi Youth Forum successfully conducted an election for its working
committee,
with Mr. Prakash
Kumar Kenrival elected as a key leader, marking a milestone in the organization’s commitment
to
fostering new
leadership. Over the years, the Forum has organized various programs, including cultural
gatherings
and community
service initiatives, to promote unity and social welfare within the Marwadi community in
Nepal.
